Yesterday after the 2 year old was finished eating lunch he slumped out of his chair as per usual. This time he stayed under the kitchen table for a bit rather than getting up right away. I went into autopilot for a few moments and found myself kneeling under the table with him, washing his face. Somehow in retrospect it doesn't seem unusual. But I had a good snicker at myself.
